About the Send A Song Ministry
Judy Asmus Hill wants all people to know a real Jesus. She hopes that through her ministry, many would come to repentance and find Jesus Christ as their best friend and the only way to heaven through His death on the cross.
Judy has had a Ministerial License for 25 years with Gospel Ministers & Churches Int'l. Judy has been one of the hosts for the WLMB Telethons for 12 years. She presently enjoys teaching a Bible Study. She was the Worship Leader for 2 years under Kelly Silver's ministry and has been on various worship teams over the years.
Judy’s “Send A Song” ministry was aired on WJYM radio for almost 8 years. It was also broadcast on Radio East Africa and Voice of Hope in Israel for 2 years. She has ministered overseas many times in Romania(6 months after the assassination/uprising), Israel, England, Finland, Estonia and Germany. Judy was part of the first Gospel Choir to sing at the Kremlin in Russia, a few days after the walls came down!
Judy has recorded 7 solo CD’s and has done 4 CD’s with her family, “The Asmus Family Singers.” Her whole family loves the Lord and enjoys singing, too, but Judy is the one who goes outside her church to minister. Judy is a Song Writer and also sends personal songs through the mail, for those who need to be built up, stirred up or cheered up.
Poetry is one of the gifts that Judy enjoys! She found a publisher that liked her poetry and has published it at no cost to her! "Trust in Times of Trouble," poetry book was birthed out of a very difficult year when he husband was ill with a serious lung problem. He went home to be with the Lord on Feb. 3, 2006. It is her strong desire to see many encouraged in their faith through these poems.
Judy's second published work called, "SUNRISE IN YOUR SOUL," was released in August, 2010. There are 4 sections: (1)Sunrise in your Soul (2) Love for Family & Friends (3) Guidance (4) REAL Success.
The Lord brought a wonderful Christian man, Jim Hill into Judy's life and they were married on Feb. 29, 2008. Jim & Judy minister as a team, he teaches the Word and Judy sings the Word, along with her poetry! They minister at the Lucas Co. Jail, Nursing Homes, Banquets, Seminars and at various Christian Gatherings, in the Tri-State area.
Together, they have 5 children, 15 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
