WEEKLY DEVOTIONS BY JUDY
"JULY 1-8TH
THE WAR
There's a war that's being fought each and every day....It's not a war with tanks and guns, but one not far away.
It's not a war on foreign soil, it's fought on your domain.....And if you are not careful, destruction will remain.
Be careful that the enemy doesn't come into your house.....he can easily get in by the way you treat your spouse.
With computer and TV, your enemy is free.....He's free to invade, if a watchman you won't be.
Give up selfishness and pride, put them down on every side....Put on God's armor every day, you'll then be strong, He'll make a way.
If Jesus love flows in your home, the enemy won't want to roam....he can't stand God's love and 'specially praise, so call in the army, their hands to raise!
Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Ephesians 6:11

This is the week of the celebration of our Independence! I challenge you to read the Declaration of Independence to your children and have a special time of remembering what our Founding Fathers and their families did for us with their own shed blood to bring us FREEDOM!
They mentioned that we were endowed by our Creator with certain unalienable rights, among these are LIFE, LIBERTY AND THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS! Our Creator sent His only Son, Jesus, to give us the best life, liberty and more happiness than any other thing this world has to give!
The poem(above) that I wrote on March of 2006 talks about the how to prevent having spiritual bloodshed in your own homes. There is a war being fought every day. We may think that watching a movie with just a little sexual content or foul language won't hurt us, but that is a lie. What we read and see does affect us!!! It is like the frog put in cold water with the heat SLOWLY turned up. Little by little destruction can come upon our souls!
May you enjoy the 4th of July weekend with a thankful heart for all who paid the price and with a watchful eye to the battlefield of your soul!
Love to you,
Judy
