WEEKLY DEVOTIONS BY JUDY
March 5-12th
Things happen in life that I don't understand, it's at those times, I take hold of God's hand.
His Word is so comforting and always ready, it's waiting there, so strong and steady.
If we never had times where we had to trust, we wouldn't know that spending time is a must.
So spend time with Jesus when you don't understand....He's always there with His loving hand.

Thy Words were found and I did eat them; And Thy Word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by Thy name, Oh Lord God of hosts.
Jeremiah 15:16
This week has been a week of much reflection & prayer! Our Worship Leader/Youth Pastor's wife was killed in a car accident! She was a young beautiful Hawaian gal who lead worship with joy and inspiriation through the Holy Spirit! We had really connected with her precious husband in just these 2 months that we have been in Florida. He is taking hold of the Lord's hand, knowing that though he totally doesn't understand, He knows the Lord called her home! It has been so special to see this young man, who is staying so close to the Lord and His Word. They were content to live in a 400 sq. foot home and get their clothes at the Goodwill store, so they could be free to serve the Lord in a greater way! They were a handsome, intelligent couple serving in leadership at a church of about 500-600 people! Praise the Lord, her death has changed and saved many lives!
I was going to give him my TRUST IN TIMES OF TROUBLE poem book and he thought I had put one on his computer. It must have been the church librarian that gave him the one that I had donated to the library. We are praying that the Lord will comfort him through the poems & scripture that was written when my beloved Dean was ill & after his home going!
When you don't understand, stay close to Jesus and He will always be there for you through His Word and the comfort you feel in your spirit!
Love to you,
Judy
